Random Updates

We finally got the doors in the new "office" installed and painted! I love them so much. It really adds so much more character to our house.

Dylan was so cute the other day when he drew a picture of our family. He loves to doodle on his white board that Santa brought him. We are cats in this particular drawing. I'll let you guess who is who :)

I've been doing better with my running, but I guess I pushed myself too hard at first. I have some major shin splints. Everyone keeps telling me to push though the pain. Google says not to, but some runners say it's just part of it. Ugh, oh well, guess I will keep pushing myself and I might get fitted for some official running shoes. No pain, no gain, right?

I forced myself up from in front of this relaxing fire to go running. I enjoy it once I get out there. It's totally stress relieving like people say. I used to run track in school, so I know I can do it and be decent at it...just so long as I put the work into it.

The kids have been doing fun little things as usual.

We took them to a new, big park they had never been to one morning after church.

D loved it so much that he was just kinda running around overwhelmed at what to do first.

I took them to the zoo this week too!

We had to ride the train per Dylan's request. 

Today was such a beautiful Spring like day that we had a "picnic" on the back deck. (Dylan loves picnics)

Dylan blew bubbles for sis that she didn't really care about it! haha

Oh, and one of the most exciting things for me....

Chris and I booked our trip to St. Lucia for April!!!!! I cannot wait. It's pretty much gonna be epic.

We rented our own villa w/ pool that hangs over a cliff overlooking the Caribbean ocean.
