Kinley: 8 Months!

Well, Kinley is another month older already. Cray-zy! 8 months is getting really close to 1 year. I need to try really hard to soak all this time up. I never want to forget it.
Kinley is crawling like crazy. She will not sit still. I guess she has watched her brother jump around like a monkey too much. : ) K doesn't have time to sit by and watch everyone else having fun. She wants to do it too.  She has started pulling up too.Oh dear! This is when the accidents start happening. Bumped and banged knees and elbows. Got watch them like a hawk.
She is a very spirited baby! You better not even act like you are going to take away something she has or wants. She will let out this little high pitched squeal. I personally think it's a defense mechanism the Lord gave her to be able to take care of her self around Dylan. Ha!
She is eating mostly baby food and puffs. She has had table food like ice cream, yogurt, and dressing. You can see here that she doesn't have a tooth in her head! Well, I assume they are in there, they just haven't popped through her gums yet.
She will still let me dress her up cute and put bows in her hair. I don't want her to ever pull her bows out!
Kinley weighs close to 20 pounds...just not quite there yet.

She tries to talk to us all the time. She says Dada, but that is her only word so far. I think she knows what it means because she will always start all that Dada mumbling when Chris comes in the room or starts playing with her. It's so cute. Guess I'm chopped liver. ha!
She knows when she needs to turn on the charm. It's so funny how little girls are just born with the ability.
She loves to swing too! We have a little swing in the backyard and she likes to swing high! Little daredevil, I tell you!
She is our silly, sweet little girl! ( who happens to be a bit of a diva, but gets away with it because she is cute).
We love you Kiki D!
