We decided to take one last trip to the beach for the year. I'm glad we did. One day, I got sunburned on the beach, and the next day it was FREEZING and soooo windy that they cancelled the ferry to Dauphin Island! We were waiting in line to ride it and Dylan was all excited, so it was kinda a bummer. Kinley has started this yelling stuff. It's sooo loud! That kinda added some intensity to the trip. She's not crying, just yelling. We figure she just likes to hear herself do it. Dylan gets annoyed at her and says,
"SIS!! I can't hear when you do that!" Haha
Anyway, on with some pics...
Love this pic with the penguin because when we were done taking the pic Dylan turns to it and acts like he is grabbing the ice cream and says "I eated your ice cream penguin!!" haha
Not even gonna lie this was fresh cotton candy and Dylan was a good excuse to get some ;)
Dylan's first putt putt game!! He did so good beating his daddy and Uncle Nathan.
We did manage to get some "family pics". It's tough with two kids.

Saturday I cannot explain how cold and windy it was!! We had so much fun though. We visited Fort Morgan. I loved being there and seeing all the historic places.

As you can tell from the coats, it was cold, but we still had ice cream!!

I’m sorry that the trip to Dauphin Island got cancelled. Well, there is always a next time. Despite the cancelled island trip, I think Dylan and Kinley enjoyed the vacation. The place looks fantastic. The beach looks serene and peaceful. And it looks like you had tons of stuff while on your vacay! Why not make this an annual habit? Sounds fun, right?
