Cheery Christmas Mantle

I'm linking up with The Lettered Cottage Blog to show you my mantle! Looking at the other mantles on this link-up makes me feel like my mantle looks like something a child did. ;)  They're are some that are AMAZING! And then, of course, some are photographed sooo beautifully. My fireplace has windows on both sides, so it makes it difficult to get the light right. 

Nonetheless, here is our mantle...

I like that it is bright and cheery! I've always loved the brighter shades of red and green for Christmas. I know some people do matching stockings with monogrammed names, and I do think they're beautiful. However, while the kids are young, I think it's fun for us each to have our own fun stockings. Maybe when the kids get older I'll order us some pretty matching stockings. :)

I had to do something kid friendly on the bottom because my little ones can get to it. Dylan loves this Santa now (he used to be afraid of it). 

I believe I ordered these cone trees from Celebrating Home a couple years ago and you can see there are some jumbo ornaments nestled in there too!
