Some Weekend Stuff!!

So Friday morning, I was in a bit of a funk. My sweet husband took off work Friday afternoon to take me and kids out and try to cheer me up. It worked and I was feeling a ton better by Friday night! We went to have lunch at one of my favorite restaurants, La Paz. I have been dieting during the week (basically just staying under 1200 calories a day) so on the weekends I do cheat a bit. I know I probably shouldn't cheat that much, but I tried to kinda eat better there than I normally would. At a Mexican restaurant though that's kind of a joke! Ha!

Kinley was soo good during our meal and that was nice. Sometimes she can be a handful to keep quite and I refuse to be THOSE people with the crying baby! She was well behaved because I fed her some refried beans for the first time. She LOVED them. I thought girlfriend was gonna crawl on the table to get them. 

We decided to take the kids to the McWane center that afternoon. It was pleasant because they really weren't busy at all. We also got to see the new exhibit (Animal Grossology) before it even opened, so that was cool too.

Kinley and Dylan liked playing in the Clifford area together.

She loves water like her mama! Anything water related, she loves. 

She got soaked playing in this water table. I know what little miss is getting for her birthday!! (hint: a water play table)  

Seriously, she was soaked. And was sooo mad when she had to leave.

Sunday we went took Dylan to his first Circus!!

 I actually enjoyed it more that I thought I would. Of course, I loved everything with the animals. There were a few times I kinda wanted to tear up because you have to wonder how they get those animals to do all those things. I can't stand the thought of them being treated cruelly. Anyway, yes, I'm kinda weird! ha

My sweet bf, Paige, kept Kinley so we could go to the circus and not have to worry about entertaining the queen. There is no way her attention span would have held out. Next year we will take K though!

I need to do Kinley's 11 month post, but I must mention that she started walking on her 11 month birthday! On Saturday, I had been working over at my parents old house all day, getting it ready for the estate sale guy to come and I was sitting down talking to her on the steps and she just started walking to me from the hall!! I almost couldn't believe my eyes. So proud of her! She had an incident earlier in the day where she hit her little head on a door frame. She didn't really cry, but it freaked me out a bit. She got a purple goose egg in no time. It looked so much worse in person. Trust me!

Chris and his buddy were over at our house building tables for their Eggs and when I texted him a pic I'm sure he thought that he can't even let us out of the house. It's kinda true because I injured myself twice working over there on the same day. That's nothing new with me though, I accidentally hurt myself all the time. :) 

And that was pretty much our weekend!! It was fun and exhausting!
