I have been busy in the kitchen this week!
Tuesday night was homemade enchiladas…they were so yummy!
Wednesday night was Chicken Pot Pie. I tried a really simple recipe and we were very pleased with the way it turned out!
Thursday night was Grilled Chicken, Grillin' Beans, Broccoli and Cheese (pretty much just for the little man…he needs his greens!) and I also whipped up a Fingerling Potato recipe I snagged from my cousin's blog… Bo's Bowl. He has lots of fancy recipes that I would like to try!
(Please note that I actually stole this pic from his blog, because I didn't take a pic of mine! )
Everything was delish this week, so tomorrow I think I will take the night off and we will just order out. I can only be a little domestic mama for so long! Time for me to take my role back as princess! Ha!!!
This is way off topic but earlier in the week, I felt guilty about being a working mom wanted to treat Dylan so I went on a little shopping spree for him. He got one of these:
Yep, a Sit and Spin
(Remember these???)
It is super old school and I think he would rather spin his possessions than actually spin on it himself. Oh well! I think it is cute anyway.
This weekend will be spent preparing for a couple’s yard sale that I am participating in next weekend. Thankfully, it is not at my house. (I don't think I will ever have one at my house) I have tons of stuff to go through. I have never been a real fan of having yard sales because frankly it is a lot of work for people to hag you over your prices when you are already practically giving the stuff away.
But, nevertheless, I have lots of nice stuff I need to get rid of, so I am giving it a go.
