Happy Independence Day and Birthday to Me!

On the 3rd of July...

We went to our friends Jabe and Haley's house and cooked out, shot guns, and lit fireworks!

My brother had about 50 firecrackers in his hand and did not let go fast enough, it resulted in 2nd and 3rd degree burns on his fingers. Another 4th of July statistic...

The doctor wrapped it up so good, he looked like the Hamburger Helper man. He earned the nickname "Ove Glove" haha!

On the 4th of July...

We went to see Eclipse. It was good, as expected.

Somehow, Derek ended up sitting next to me in the movie and he was bored and kept raising the Ove Glove up and distracting me!

We eat at Macaroni Grill for lunch.

We then came home and celebrated my birthday! (even though it is not until the 6th)

I got some really nice gifts, Chris got me a FLIP HD video camera, an outdoor rug for my back porch, a beautiful Brighton necklace and a few other really cute things. My mom got me all kinds of jewelry and clothes. Derek and Nicole got me a Mani-Pedi Gift Certificate and a case for my new FLIP. I also got my very own ice cream cake from Brusters! :)

I can't believe that tomorrow I will be 26! I have kinda been having a hard time with it because I feel so old! I know to some people that would sound silly. But, I have honestly been down about it. I know, I know, I shouldn't be. Oh well, what can I say, at least I am one year closer to some rockin' senior discounts!
