What we've been up to!

{Saturday}
Saturday we met up with Chris' aunt, "Bar", for a little visit at the Bass Pro Shop in Prattville. We ate at the restaurant in the store...I had no idea it would be so nice. It made me feel like I was on vacation. The food was really good. Dylan did not eat much of his grilled cheese. A few minutes later we found out why...:(
After lunch, we were in the kids section looking at stuffed animals, and Dylan totally puked...like something out of a movie. :( It kinda reminded me of the time I was pregnant and begged for pink lemonade, and then violently threw it up just two minutes later. {Not. good. times.} Anywho, I'll spare you the details of D's incident, but it required me buying him new clothes in the store. For a while, my child was shirtless, with camo shoes and a camo hat, in Bass Pro Shop. I'm sure we looked super classy! haha

Later that night, Chris and I watched "The Last Song". It was sooo sad, but I enjoyed it anyway. At first, I could not get over Miley being such a brat, but in the end, I really liked her and thought Miley did a really good job!
{Sunday}
Sunday we worked our hiney's off around the house. (Well, Chris more than me because I took a three hour nap! hehe) We cleaned up our basement, Chris detailed my car, and he totally "bush hogged" our garden. (I am sure anyone who reads my blog knows what that means, but if you don't--that means he destroyed the garden, so it will be ready for next season.)
Sunday night, we visted my mom and she made a really yummy pasta. Oh, and we had the most delish ice cream. It's by Blue Bell and it's called "Southern Hospitality". We even added a little chocolate syrup!
 Buy it. You won't regret it!

We laughed for awhile, because my mom gave Dylan a Pop Tart and she put chocolate syrup on it!! Ugh!! She also put her earrings on him...I'm not real sure about her sometimes. I have no idea how I turned out "normal"! haha I love her anyway!!
We are ending our day like we normally do, watching The Good Night Show on Sprout.

Sometimes I can take this show, and sometimes I can't. Dylan loves it though. So, you know how it goes around here....what Dylan wants, Dylan gets! Sometimes, I come to the realization of what a "mom" I have become. I heard a voice the other day and I said to Chris, "Hey, that's Handy Manny!" He said, "well it is the guy who does his voice". Turns out this guy is in adult shows too!! haha..Who knew :) Oh, I can also sing just about any theme song to the cartoons on Sprout. Yeah, I guess you could say I have picked up a talent or two since I have become a mom!
