It is has been too long since I have done any regular exercise. How long? Well, I'm not going to say because I'm too embarrassed.(not that you couldn't tell by looking at me! haha) Honestly, it was probably Jazzercise before Dylan was born. Anywho, I digress. Sure, I have had a little DVD action here and there. I even bought 30 Day Shread and Zumba. I actually hope to continue with my Zumba when the weather gets tooo cold. Right now, I want to walk & jog. I am trying to do a couch to 5K program. I should be able to do this. I ran track in school for pete's sake!! I went on a 25 min. brisk walk/jog by myself the other morning. It was actually kinda -dare I say- fun. I enjoyed the cool breeze and the sunshine. Plus, it was soo quiet and peaceful. I did have my ipod going for most of time though.
If you know where I live you probably know where this is. See? Proof I really did go walking :)
I do carry a "beat stick" with me though. It pretty much consists of a metal mop handle. It doesn't look as bad as it sounds! I love me some animals, but I do not like big, strange dogs, with the hair on their back standing up, lunging towards me. Oh, and also if some crazy person comes at me...I'll be ready. I know, I know...but I watch a lot of Forensic Files.
So tonight, when I get home...I am going to get my shoes on, get my headphones, and of course trusty stick....and go walking! Even if I do have to push Dylan in his stroller {which I am sure will be a fight in itself since he thinks he is 35 and should not ride in strollers}.
Wish me luck keeping it up, I'll need it.
