Spooky Fun!

Well, I must say, at this point, I am Halloweened out! Ready for Christmas! haha....Anywho, we had a fun couple of days. Friday night, we visited Tannehill to look at all the Halloween decorations! It brings back such fun memories for us. Last year, we kept our trailer there the entire month of October and we went every weekend. However, the rain was terrible last year, so it kinda scared us away of doing the same this year. Dylan had fun looking at all the pumpkins and lights. He was not a fan of the real "spooky" decorations as he called them. This witch kept trying to talk to him and he refused, I mean refused, to look at her! haha Chris said on the way home.."poor thing will probably be having nightmares all night". :)

The witch Dylan was terrified of

My mom's reaction to this..."how cute!" She is a little different. Haha
Saturday we had lunch at Chuy’s! It is a fairly new Mexican resturant at The Summit. It is such a cool place and so good too.

Of course, we did the whole trick or treating deal with Dylan that night. He did a really good job and got himself a decent amount of candy. Uncle D and Aunt Nic Nic helped him out with the candy he couldn’t eat! :) These are a couple of pics I took of him before we went trick or treating. He loved the dino hand gloves, so he used them as work gloves and started doing yard work!

Sunday was one of those “don’t ask” days. It was rough. Dylan was in a mood to throw fits all day. He probably threw one of his worst.
He got mad because his Daddy left him after he refused to get in the car. :( He laid by the basement door and kicked and screamed for a good 15 min. He later came to me being super sweet and gave me a hug. I asked him if he was sorry and he said yes.

I am not ready to start this week. I'm still drained. I'll have a case of the Monday's tomorrow.

ah, the tantrums. Sorry to say but as they grow up they're still there, they just change how it happens. Don't take it personally, it doesn't mean you're a bad mom - he's just expressing himself the only way he knows how. Don't let it get to you - sometimes we just need to disconnect and chill to keep ourselves sane!

Absolutely adore your halloween photos! how wonderful.
