I can't believe the weekend is over. :( I was getting used to it. I guess it is like they say...all good things must come to an end. I spent my days off after Thanksgiving relaxing, decorating, and doing a little shopping.
It's Dylan's little tree!
I still have one more tree to put up. I put some of my favorite ornaments on it! We always get a real tree, so I'll probably wait until next weekend just so it will last longer. Last year, by the time Christmas got here, it was dying off. :(
As far as relaxing goes, I watched a lot of movies this weekend!
*Eat Pray Love--Was almost an hour too long, frankly, it bored me.
*Please Give--Was pretty good.
*Home Alone 2---Not as good as the original, but still classic.
*Lampoons Christmas Vacation- A classic as well, so funny!
*The Dog that Saved Christmas- Cute!
Chris and I also put together a Gingerbread Train while Dylan napped. It kept falling over, it was really kinda sad actually. I finally had to prop it up on the box until it dried! It is now upright with just a slight lean. :)
Sunday we went to see my Granny! She is in a nursing home, and even though she is 85, she is sharp as a tack. My mom and I took her a couple poinsettias and we also surprised her with Dylan. It was really sad because she cried when we left. She was having such a good time.
Dylan loved pushing and riding in the wheelchair.
Can't say I am really ready for another week, but I have no choice! Hopefully, you and I will all have pretty good weeks!!
