Last Sunday we had the best time! Chris, Dylan and I loaded up in the car having no idea where we were going. It was a beautiful day so we knew we could get into something fun! We ended up having lunch at La Paz, one of my fav Mexican restaurants. After lunch, we surprised Dylan with a trip to the zoo! He was so excited when we told him, he was clapping and squeeling. So totally worth the almost 50 bucks it cost to get in. I think next year we are going to have to buy a family membership! ha All the animals seemed to be out and we pretty much had the zoo to ourselves. It was great! They had this cute old tractor set up for the kids to take their picture riding.
After we left the zoo, we went to an ice cream shop and shared ice cream. :)
It was a really fun day for just the three of us.
Dylan had his Christmas party at school on Thursday and the kids exchanged gifts.
D was so excited about this party.
Thursday night, me and my mom went to an annual ornament and sweet exchange! I didn't take any pics, but we had a really good time and got ourselves us some super cute ornaments.
And one last thing, you know Shane the Elf has been up to no good. :)
Shane will only be with us a couple more nights. I know Dylan will miss him!
