Milestones!!

We’ve reached two big milestones this week! The first one is a HUGE deal! Dylan is now potty trained!! He has been doing an awesome job and has gone a couple weeks with wearing real underwear. He even sleeps now in real underwear! He has not yet, knock on wood, had an accident in bed. I’m not naive enough to think he won’t though. We bought him some extra sheets and a waterproof mattress pad yesterday. Everyone keeps telling me once Kinley gets here that we shouldn’t be surprised if he starts having accidents. I sure hope not. All we can do is keep doing what we’re doing! He has a poster that he puts stickers on every time he goes pee in the potty, and he has a prize bowl that he can pick something out of every time he goes poop in the potty. It’s mainly just little party favor type toys. You can get them super cheap at Party City. Of course, we are super proud of him!!
The other milestone is my 36 week mark!! Things are starting to get real, ya’ll! We have been finishing up little last minute to do’s in her room. I’ve got all her clothes & quilts ready! We’ve washed the car seat and it’s ready to go. I’ve got the bottles organized and in the cabinet. The big brother and little sister shirts are done. I have no bags packed but I’m not real worried about that right now. I’ll do that in the next week or so. In fact, I just ordered her baby bag yesterday.
Her name will be embroidered on the main flap. I’m so excited because it took me forever to find one that I really liked. I must have looked at every brand. I just didn’t fall in love with any of the patterns. I lucked up on finding this one in a google search. It is from a baby store in Chicago that makes them there at the store.
At my last doctors appt. (35 weeks), I wasn't dilated, but she was head down and in position! I keep hoping I won't have to be induced like I was with Dylan, but honestly if I had to do that all over again it wouldn't be that bad. I still feel like I'm doing pretty good, the only complaints I have are heartburn and feeling like a 80 year lady when I stand up too quick.

We weren't able to go to church this morning because Chris woke up under the weather. We did watch it on tv though! I have a couple other things going on in my life right now, that are really testing me to just hand it over to God. I can't do it myself, but HE can!

I get really stir crazy if I don't get out on the weekends. I guess because all I do during the week is work & be a homebody. I haven't been able to get out and do all the more physical activities on the weekends obviously because of miss Kinley. In fact, my only shopping this weekend has been a trip to Target. That being said, I feel like I'm gonna go crazy before this day is over! We can't get out because of Chris being sick, so I guess I'll just rent a movie and try to deal! haha
I secretly want to take a trip/mini vacation somewhere but that probably won't happen. I'm just gonna have to get over sitting at home for a few more weeks. :)
