Our sweet baby girl arrived on Sunday morning, February 26th at 5:14 in the morning. She weighed 8 pounds 15 ounces and was 21 inches long.
Saturday was a very lazy day for me. I was already scheduled to be induced on Monday morning, so I was relaxing and trying to get those last few days of peace. :) Kinley had other plans though. Saturday night about 9:00 pm, I started having contractions that were about 10 mins apart. They came on strong and very consistent. I knew I had to be in labor. We went ahead and called Derek and Nicole so they could pick up Dylan. Chris and I waited at home until the contractions were about 6-7 mins apart and then headed to the hospital. By the time we made it there, they were 5 mins apart and very painful. I walked to the nurse's station and told them I thought I was in labor. It was funny because you could tell they didn't think I was in labor! haha A nurse took me to a triage room and got me hooked up to all the machines. I was 5 cm dilated. Even the nurse said she couldn't believe how well I was handling the pain. They of course admitted me and then the true labor began. After I got my epidural, everything felt very peaceful. I just prayed and knew that the Lord would take care of me and Kinley. I could not have asked for things to have went any smoother. I labored through the night and I literally pushed 2 times. At 5:14 am on Sunday morning our beautiful baby girl came into the world. She took my breath away.
The next couple days were a dream. She is such a doll baby!
I obviously love to dress her up in all her cute clothes!
Derek, Dylan, and Nicole meeting her for the first time!

I still cannot believe how perfect Kinley is and how much I love her! She is our little princess!! ; )
