Spring Beach Getaway

Last weekend, we took a little trip to the beach! I wanted to go so bad once I started seeing everyone posting Spring Break pics. The beach is my happy place. : )

 We were able to stay at Chris' aunt Cathy's beach house, so that made the trip budget friendly. It was Kinley's first beach trip and we had the best time. Plus, the weather was great and it only rained once.

Cathy has a beautiful home! 

We eat at some of our favorite restaurants, plus we tried a new place called "The Hangout". I had the Mahi Mahi fish tacos and they were oh so yummy. It's right on the beach and has this great little play area for kids. Dylan really had fun...

His baby sister had to just hang in the shade while D played... 

Another cool thing about Cathy's house is it has its own heated pool. We played in the pool each afternoon.

This is her laying under the umbrella on the beach. I'm telling you, this little chick has a rough life.

Dylan was big enough to ride the go carts with Chris. He LOVED it. He kept calling them race cars and saying they go real fast. We ended up taking him to ride them twice while we were there.

Chris' parents came down for a night and we had a nice, relaxing time visiting with them.

It was a great trip and just what I needed (a little getaway). We enjoyed spending time with family and slowing down for just a bit.

Our trip was memorable & sweet. I know that I will cherish those days forever.
