Paradise: Take Two

Once we got to Sandals La Toc, we were able to enjoy more of the comforts of home like AC, TV, and wifi (even if it was spotty at best).

Our little room was nice and clean. We didn't have an ocean view, but what can you do when you call the night before for reservations?!! haha Even though all those rooms were booked, I took a liking to our little room. It was close to everything at the main part of the resort, yet far enough away for a little privacy. It had a nice garden view with mango trees that were just full of the fruits! (You could actually see the ocean on the very top of the trees. The blue water kinda blends in with the blue sky in the pictures.)

The grounds were beautiful. There were flowers everywhere! Big blooms of pink and yellow made everything seem so dream like.

Cats were everywhere too. I loved it, but Chris isn't the biggest fan of cats, so I got on his nerves with them. They are very friendly and pretty much demand you feed them.

One of my favorite times on the trip is when we played in the sea and waves one afternoon. The water was soo clear and warm and we just went out and rode the waves!

The food there was just ok. I don't think I'll be craving any of it in the future, but it was all inclusive so I feel kinda nit picky for talking about it. The restaurants were really pretty though. Armando's was the prettiest...
We had Italian there one night. It was one of the more romantic restaurants.

They had a street fair one night with all the St. Lucian foods from the different areas. There were some crazy looking meats and seafood, so Chris and I were leery about trying too much of it! ha

We did try some fresh coconut water. It was pretty refreshing, but a little blander than I thought it would be.
I guess that's enough of the photo dump! It was a wonderful (and crazy) trip and I'm happy for the memories we made. We would return to St. Lucia in the future, but I would like to travel to some other places first! I sure did miss my babies though! :)
