Today it's so yucky and dreary. I really do despise this kind of weather. It really affects my mood more than it should. Today, I've been hiding out inside so I can pretend it's beautiful outside! (it doesn't really work, fyi)
I've been looking at real estate all morning. Not because we are about to move or anything, I just like looking at the market and how houses are decorated. You can get some pretty good ideas that way. Plus, it's a little more realistic than Pinterest.
I had to pick up Jonah from daycare last week because my SIL and brother couldn't make it in time because of traffic. Been there, done that when I used to work! I was happy to be able to help because they've done it for me a many of time.
The babies played with Kinley's new grocery cart.
It came with the foods and it's already been worth the price. It actually kept Kinley entertained!
We went to Sam's on Friday night , I know, we're pretty wild! It was fun though. We bought a bunch of random stuff. Chris loves to go to Sam's. He says it's like his Target. ha! We always take K in the pet store next door whenever we go because she's obsessed with animals.
It rained the day of the Magnolia Festival, but we had already promised to take Dylan to ride the rides. We had to take him, so Chris ended up letting him ride stuff for about 45 mins.
He had fun and even got his courage up and rode the para-trooper ride. It actually went up pretty high.
We went to Dylan's friend Ellie's birthday party. D had fun playing with the girls. Sometimes he gets too rough, but for the most part he understands that you can't be rough with girls! :)
Kinley loved playing with the balloons too! She kept calling them a ball. She was so cute though, I really couldn't correct her.
Oh, and I ran my 5K the weekend before and not only did I get a new PR, I got 4th in my division!! Woo-hoo! And might I mention that there were tons of hills! The race route was kinda weird because it doubled on itself twice.
My brother ran in it too. He beat me, of course. It was fun though and I want to do some more soon! Dylan ran in the fun run and did sooo good. It was a half mile and he really did run pretty fast the whole time. He wasn't even out of breath at the end! Some girls were in front of him and bless his sweet soul he wanted to be a gentleman and not pass them. My brother encouraged him to pass them about half way through.
He got a medal when he finished and he was so proud. He kept telling us he beat everyone! LOL
We didn't tell him otherwise. He was just too proud! We did tell him that he needs to remember to have good sportsmanship though. ;)

My husband and I LOVE LOVE LOVE running in races (I'm more of the 5k, 10k 15k runner and he's more the 50k/100 mile runner). I can't wait until our son is old enough to do a fun run. And it's funny you mention Kinley calling a balloon a ball....Carter did the EXACT same thing this weekend. You have a very beautiful family!
It has been really nasty here over the past week. I'm looking forward to beautiful sunny days ahead!!
