Summer Fundays!

Here I am again, behind on blogging our little life. I always wait until I have a ton of pictures to post, and I need to clean up my picture folders. It becomes overwhelming at that point honestly. As I always say though, I feel like I need to do this for the kids. It's my only scrapbook!

We finished up with Dylan's first year of baseball. It seemed really short actually. I'm sure next year, when most of the kids actually want to be there, it will seem more exciting! ;)
His team had an end of the season party at the splash pad! Dylan got some pretty cute stuff, but his favorite thing was his trophy. He really thought his team won everything! (In his age league they don't even keep score.) We didn't tell him the parents bought the trophies and all the kids who played ball got one.  Our little secret, ya know?

This is the ad we had put in the baseball program. We were so proud of him and happy that he seems to want to do it again next year!

We had a wonderful Memorial Day! The weather was perfect. Chris cooked some ribs on the egg and D, N, and J came over. We let the kids swim, which Kinley and Jonah loved btw.

Kinley, uh, got a little un-ladylike during dinner : )

We made homemade ice cream too!!!!
That same weekend we met the kid's Uncle Nate (Chris' brother) and had lunch at Superior Grill. We pretty much talked about body building the whole time!

Dylan saw his very first movie in the theater! We saw "The Croods". It was pretty cute.
D was perfect and K was pretty good during it considering. All she really wants to do is run around now.

We also went camping last weekend. It was busy! We had several people over to our camper on Saturday and we cooked out.  At one point, our camper was filled with kids!

She was so proud to sit in this chair like a big girl.

Riding in the bike trailer!
Of course, we've done other fun things here and there like going to the splash pad...

Dylan went with his daddy and poppy to a baseball game...

We went to Dairy Queen one night and had ice cream while watching a movie in the car...

This week is VBS week. I volunteered to help this year with the 3 year olds. It's been fun, but busy so far. We attend a pretty big church, so there are a ton of kids. Randomly enough, I was thinking about going to the beach next week. And yes, I'm kinda nutty! I need to just move there. If you made it through this post, and you are not the kid's grandparents...God bless you! ; )

VBS used to wear me out when I would volunteer!
I love your 5th wheel! We have one on Logan Martin Lake. Isn't it fun to get away!?
