We took our annual Pumpkin Patch trip to a new patch this year. We usually try to go the last weekend in September because it's not crowded and you get the best pumpkin selection. However, things came up and we weren't able to make until later this year. We knew our favorite patch, Old Baker Farms, would be crazy busy, so we decided to branch out and try a new one, Griffin Farms. It was a sweet little patch on a pretty piece of land. One thing I can't stand is fake patches (i.e.: where they throw some pumpkins out in a cow pasture). I love to see the pumpkins still on the vine.
We always love the petting zoo!
Taking a walk through the corn maze.
One thing we loved about this patch that the others don't have are these corn tubs. The kids LOVED them.
These huge slides were pretty fun too. I didn't take a ride down because all the adults were talking about how hard they hit and how they are pretty sure they had broken their tailbone. :) No thanks, I'll pass.
This place had something that Chris was pretty interested in too...a zip line.
We had a really good time and it was beautiful fall weather so that's the best we could ask for. This patch will be added to our short list of favorites.
Oh, I got Kinley's school pictures and almost died of the cuteness on the way home trying to look at them. I took a picture of the pic here.
I mean seriously those legs, those hands and that smile...dead! haha
I also eat lunch with Dylan at school for the first time. He seemed so old!! It was bittersweet, I was sad, but also proud of him.
He is such my sweet and handsome boy!
Love these people so much!!
