This past Thanksgiving was very laid back for us. We don't really like to travel on Thanksgiving and since we didn't have any type of vacation planned, we spent it at home. The night before Thanksgiving, Derek, Nicole, Jonah and Fisher came over and we made tacos and hung out together.
Thanksgiving day was just us, but we still made a yummy traditional meal. Those green bean bundles were out of this world!
That weekend the kids spent at their Pops and Granny's house. They had so much fun spending a couple nights and getting all the attention and special treatment. I can't help but miss them as soon as they leave though.
Since Chris and I weren't real sure what to do with ourselves, we just went exploring and out to eat of course!
I LOVE this little building I found nestled in Mt. Brook. It's just so quaint.
We also found a new to us place called Moss Rock Preserve. It feels like you are WAY out in the woods but you are only a few yards into the woods.
People were doing all kinds of rock climbing, but Chris and I were just enjoying staying on the ground.
We always have fun just messing around doing things we wouldn't normally get to do with the kids. Yet, we miss them like crazy!
