Easter Happenings

Easter is such a sweet and beautiful time of year. I mean the reason why we celebrate Easter is the best news we could ever receive! Our sins have been forgiven & we can have eternal life! God loves us just that much, & we don't even come close to deserving it. It's way too much for our human brains to understand. One of our favorite things to do on Easter is go to church for the special Easter service. Of course, it's one of the best all year. 

The Easter Bunny visited our house too! He left some neat treats for the kids. 

And well, you know, we had to have some pre-Easter fun too! 

Kinley had an Easter Egg Hunting Party at her school.  

It was the cutest thing to watch the kids run around and try to grab as many eggs as possible. They would all say "found it!" if they got one. 

Kinley got quite a few eggs. :) They were filled with candy, so she had a good time sorting through them. 

I almost couldn't handle the cuteness of her spring pics from school. I mean seriously!? How could I resist these cute gems. 

Dylan was also super handsome in his spring pics too. I had to buy some of them. I guess school pics will always slay me.

Back to Easter though...We colored eggs using a new method that we loved. Shaving Cream Eggs! It was a lot of fun to do them this way. We know some tricks for next year.

Kinley got just a little messy, haha!! 

See? They turned out very pretty and different! 

Lastly, Easter night, Uncle Nathan and his girlfriend came over to hunt Easter eggs with the kids. They had a blast. I think Dylan would have hidden and hunt eggs all night.

It was really funny because Dylan had developed a point system for the different types of eggs. Oh, and when Kinley would hide her eggs, she would put them all in the same place. We called it her honey hole. :) 

We had such a fun Easter and made some great memories.
