Ok, so actually it hasn't really been madness and I'm not a basketball fan, but it's what popped in this random head of mine. We've stayed pretty busy this month. I actually took a girl's trip to Ponte Verda Florida. We went to the Tim Tebow Celebrity Golf Tournament. It was the longest I've been away from Chris and the kids and I was pretty proud of myself because I only cried once! haha
It was a beautiful area and the closet big city is Jacksonville. That is the airport we flew into. It was about a 30 min drive from there.
We stayed at the Marriott Sawgrass.
All the girls at dinner the first night. We eat at the Sea Porch. It was right on the water with live music. It made for a wonderful and relaxing night.
The next day we went to the golf course, TPC Sawgrass. It was gorgeous!
That's Jake Owen
Tim Tebow himself.
This golf course had the prettiest clubhouse. The pictures just don't show how big and beautiful it really was.
My autograph from Tim!

Jessica and I snuck away from the course for a bit and had lunch at a highly recommend Mexican restaurant, Taco Lu, since we both LOVE mexican.
Some of the best cheese I've had was had at TacoLu! :)
That night we were all starved and we managed to make it to a local pizza joint, Al's Pizza. We had already devoured a little before I could even get a pic of the pizza! Told you we were starved.
Afterwards, we went to the cabana club and walked on the beach and sat by the fire. I could have seriously slept there.
I'm so happy I went on the trip because I made two new friends and one is even from Canada, Kim.

While I was gone Chris took the kids, on his own mind you, to Live with the Characters.
This was the second year they had it. However, last year we were out of town. I loved getting these pictures. Chris said Kinley loved the princesses and Dylan liked the superheroes of course!
The only thing that Kinley didn't like was the warthog (Pumbaa) from The Lion King. She said it was a scary pig and refused to have her picture made with him. ;) Chris did a great job entertaining them while I was gone!
Funny story, I actually forgot until about 9:00 on the Sunday night I got back that Dylan's leprechaun trap was due for school the next day. I made it with things we had at home after Dylan went to bed.
I was pretty proud of how it turned out since I was running on fumes at that point. We also weren't super prepared for St. Patrick's Day in the attire department either. Oh well, we snuck some green in there. :)
Sometimes you just have to go with it and keep things simple!
