He gets it!!

I have realized that Dylan finally understands what we tell him now!! For example, if we say “you need to get changed”, he will say “changed” and go get a diaper and pull out his quilt that we always change him on. Yesterday, Chris told him "you stink" and D said "changed" and ran to get his quilt and diaper! And, if I say we have to get his clothes, he will go to the closet and start pulling on whatever he wants to wear. He literally makes me laugh everyday. In fact, last night, he kept picking up his big pack of diapers (which are pretty heavy by the way) and he would keep taking them to Chris. Then, we made him get in the diaper box and pulled him around. Yes, obviously, we were pretty bored.

I was so excited when I found a bunch of bath books at Target yesterday. Dylan has one and he loves it but they can be hard to find. He loves to look at them while he is bathing. Anyway, I bought a couple and I put one up to put in his Easter basket (it was Finding Nemo) and I gave him the the other one. He has an Elmo book already. It is so cute how he says Elmo. :) Here is the one I gave him:

I tried to be really good today and go to one of those children's consignment sales. I have been to a few but never find the all the great stuff most people find! Of course, I don't have all day like some people do to look through the racks. I take about 15 min of my lunch break to look. Plus, I hate waiting in long lines, so that is another reason why I don't love them. I did buy about five things and you would be very proud to know that I waited about 15-20 min. in line. That is a long time for me to wait in line!!!! If I walk in a store and I see the line to check out is too long, I will just turn around and leave. For instance, Ross gives me the heebie bejeebies!!!!! Being the neat freak that I am, the whole "tornado just hit" look of Ross just doesn't excite my shopping senses. ; )  TGIF!!!!
