Beach=Happiness

I would give anything to live at the beach! I just love it. Maybe it’s just me, but I somehow think that life would be easier living on the coast. We had a great time in Perdido Key this past weekend! We stayed pretty busy, but were still lazy enough to call it a vacation. Of course, no real vacation would be complete without stuffing yourself silly on good food! And, yum, it was so worth it. We ate at all our usuals..Lillians, Shrimp Basket, San Roc Cay, etc.

Dylan loved the sand! He did not, however, enjoy the ocean as much. He was scared of the waves and water. If I was his size, I probably wouldn’t blame him. Ha! Since he wouldn’t put a toe in the ocean and the pool water was cold, we being true Alabamians made him a homemade pool on the balcony. We just filled the Club 300 with a little water and BAM!…instead baby pool.

I had to try and take the infamous “black and white color-coordinated family beach pictures”. Well, so much for that. Dylan cried the entire time. Oh well, here is the best of the bunch...

All in all, we had a wonderful time just relaxing and spending time with our family. Dylan had so much fun with his Mimi, Big D, and Nic Nic.

 We made memories that will last forever, and really, that is what vacations are all about!!
