This morning Chris, Dylan and I went to Prattville so he could return some law case files he had been working on. First, we met his Aunt Cathy. She had a special present for Dylan. She bought him this adorable doll while on vacation in Hawaii.
Dylan now calls it “baby”. He thinks every child is a baby, besides himself, of course. He thinks he is grown. Cathy also had me a special present too. It was a Raymond Weil Diamond Watch. I am so excited. It is soo pretty and really looks like me :) This watch sells for almost $2,000 so, needless to say, it is the nicest watch I have ever had. I love it. Chris got cash, that is one present that will always be loved! She is always too nice to us.
We then headed to a park in downtown Prattville to meet Chris' parents. It had the cutest little duck pond and one of the biggest playgrounds I have ever seen. I was very impressed. This is just one little part of it...
Dylan enjoyed spending time with his Poppy and Granny
We had fun watching all the ducks go about their routines
Here are a few more pics from our day
Oh, and just a little sidenote...is this not the most pitiful looking duck? Poor thing.
We then had lunch at Las Casitas...aka Habaneros. Which, as most know, I am a huge mexican fan, but not really a fan of Habaneros. I kinda equate their food to mexican from a can. Although the food was just ok, I had a good time with my boys.
I let Chris pick what he wanted me to make for dinner. I am about to try two new recipes. I will have to let you know how those turn out tomorrow!
