Missing my sunshine

Can I just say how ready I am for Spring (well, really Summer). I can't wait to feel the sun on my skin and flip flops on my feet. This next week, however, has 8 inches of snow in the forecast. For real?? Am I even IN Bama? It wasn't like this until a few years ago it seemed. Please slap me if I ever complain about how hot it is outside.

Anywhoodles, Saturday was cold and wet, what a surprise. We pretty much hung around the house. I woke up super early, went on a cleaning spree, and cooked a really good sausage breakfast casserole. I am glad it turned out well because the night before I made a new recipe, pizza puffs, and they weren't my fav. You win some and lose some! We watched Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps that afternoon. I napped in the middle of it but the beginning and end were pretty good. I have a feeling it might have been a little long. haha! Our poor Betta fish, Weezie, passed away. I had him for almost three years. We already have another betta because Dylan feeds Weezie and we didn't want him to notice him gone. We had to go to Walmart to obtain this fish. I have not been to Walmart in months. I never want to go back, it gives me the creeps. I am the Target Queen!! Love my Target!

Saturday night we went and hung out at my mom's house. We had fun! I promise she probably had 12 candles lit and little tea light burners. Granted, they smell good, I just pray she doesn't burn the house down! Haha..(I know she reads my blog, so I have to pick on her!) :)

I don't know if you remember I how fixed up that china cabinet a few months ago, but it has totally sat empty. I just haven't had the money to do what I really want with it. I borrowed some dishes from my mom to at least brighten it up and make it look pretty in the meantime. Here are my plans for it:

Oh, I got this really cool app for my phone this weekend. It is called instagram and its free! You can change up the colors and mood of the pics you take on your iphone.

I'm writing this early on a Sunday morning and I've already clipped my coupons from the paper. I have no idea why I have woke up so early these past couple days. It has been nice though to have sometime to myself before Dylan wakes up though.

It's about time to stir around and get ready for church.
