Random Thoughts

I'm going to start off complaining just for a minute. First off, could it be any hotter?? It has been sooo hot lately!! I can't believe it's this early, and already this hot. Oh, and I'm really not loving the fact that all the shows I watch are on hiatus for the summer. :( It's so bad, I'm DVR-ing cooking shows. I'm trying to get into some shows on DVD, like Crossing Jordan (it's just ok).

In the past couple weeks, I've watched a documentary about giant squid and one about vampire bats. See? I told you I was in a tv rut! Oh, I did watch Cupcake Wars last night and ended up watching two hours worth of this show!! It really had me wanting a cupcake ha!

Oh, and I even downloaded a book to read on my phone :)

The past couple weekends we have been playing catch up...cleaning the house and doing yard work. Chris has really got the yard looking great! I pretty much will go shopping and then try and hide out inside and stay cool. I'll go out about 8:00 at night or so and water my garden. It’s really cute this year. We have tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeños, squash, onions, and cilantro.

 We will be able to make fresh salsa from our garden! It's gonna be soo good. 

Dylan has been such a big helper lately. He really can help with some things. It is so cute to see him try and do everything his daddy does. I could seriously just sit and watch him for hours he is so entertaining. He really is at a fun age. He is just precious :) He found my flower headband and put it on himself….I think he would make a beautiful little girl.

I bought this pretty hat to wear on the beach for our anniversary trip in a couple weeks.

We are flying to West Palm Beach for a few days. Just me and Chris! I can't wait!!! We haven't had a trip by ourselves since before Dylan was born. Although,  I must admit, I'm already anxious about leaving my sweet boy.

I also got these shoes at Payless. I never think to go to Payless, but I was kinda surprised at how cute these are...

Dylan has a wild frog for a pet now. This frog hangs out by our garage door every night! Dylan will say, "lets go feed my frog!" haha We tried to tell him that the frog is taking care of himself.

Well, I think that is enough random for right now! Happy Sunday :)
