Waiting for Fall Weekend!

I'm soo ready for fall! Seriously, I always get this way about August. I just get tired of the heat. I love the smell of fall, the crispness, football, camping and good food! Oh yeah, and decorating for fall and halloween. :)

Last minute on Friday, we decided to go camping this weekend. I love our new trailer and we really haven't had the best chance to use it yet. Friday night, I cooked and packed in preparation for our trip. I totally forgot an ingredient I needed for a gelatin salad I was making, soooo...we used the excuse of having to go get my missing ingredient to stop by Sno Biz and get a sno cone. I always get the same thing, coconut and cream. It's sinful!! :)

We woke up Saturday and had pancakes then headed to the campground! We had a really good time. At one point Dylan looked at me and said "we're having fun mama!" Aww, that makes it all worth it!

Dylan got to feed the ducks some hoagie rolls we had leftover and he loved it, of course. 

We also met up with my mom and brother Saturday and went to my Aunt's house for lunch. I took my camera, but didn't take any pics. I wish I had though! :(

The only bad thing about the trip was the fact that Dylan got stung by a yellowjacket twice just as we were leaving. Poor thing hardly even cried and Chris and I didn't even really know what was going on at first because he was sooo quiet.

 I made him a homemade cool pack by wrapping a cold washcloth and clothes pinning it around his arm. We were kinda nervous at first because he has never been stung before, but thankfully he didn't have a reaction!

Anyway, we had such a good time, we actually left our trailer there so we can go next weekend.

We came home and went swimming, cut grass, and picked tomatoes from our garden. We had sooo many!

This is not even all of them we picked...

Tonight, Chris is making me some mashed potatoes and fried okra! I love it! Can't wait til next weekend! Wish I could just skip right to it now ;)
