Shopped Out!!!

The weekend has been so hot!! Too hot for me. I originally wanted to go to Nashville or Chattanooga this weekend, but I waited too late to try and make plans and lots of the hotels were full. :( Oh well, we tried to make the most of our weekend at home.

Dylan picked out his Alabama jersey to wear. He's ready for football season. Roll Tide!

We stopped by Books a Million. Every time I go there, I think they have the coolest stuff. Tons more than just books.  

They have the coolest children's books. And, I just thought this bear wearing underwear was the cutest thing! 

Dylan picked out a dinosaur book. He liked it because it has big googly eyes that you can move from the back of the book. You can't really tell from this picture, but they are too funny. 

We bought Dylan some clothes on sale because it was tax free weekend. He got some shirts, pants and a swimsuit for next year. After all that buying for Dylan, mama got a little jealous. ha! So...I gifted myself these candles because I heart candles soo much.

They are Slatkin and Co. and the flavors are....Homemade Cookies, Apple Crumble and my personal fav, Salty Caramel. MMM!! I love the smell of fall candles. Can we just seriously just go ahead and skip to fall?

I woke up with the urge for a new comforter for our bed. I wanted a quilt or coverlet originally, but the only ones I could find were ugly. No real nice way to put it. Straight up ugly! haha

So, I gave up the idea of the quilt and got this comforter.

I don't have any cute little pillows yet. It's tough to find something to match the existing wall color and curtains, but yet different enough from the old comforter. My curtains are chocolate brown so they match really nicely.

We had a good time eating lunch at Logan's and we had a special treat afterwards...

Gigi's Cupcakes!!! Yummy!!!!! 

Me and Chris have only split one so far. They are on the heavy side, obviously!

I just love the weekends and spending time with my boys!! :)
