We've had a really fun weekend so far!! Saturday we did a little swimming and went to Mugshots for dinner.
I had to do a zoom in of that face! He is such a mess sometimes. :)
Derek and Nicole went with us!
I had a delicious taco salad!! YUMMY! Derek and Chris really loved their burgers too.
Sunday we had a little birthday celebration for me! My actual birthday is Wednesday, but why not celebrate when everyone is off work and in a great mood??!! I'm gonna be the big 2-7! Oh well, I've been in my late 20's already, so it shouldn't be that big of deal.
We had Stix for my birthday dinner and, I have to say, I got some pretty awesome presents. This was my big present from Chris...
Not the furniture, but the gazebo. It's going on our deck. I LOVE it!!! I really think we'll be able to enjoy our deck more once it is shaded. Right now, it is full sun. :(
This weekend we have made lots of progress on potty training for Dylan! He has even been wearing "real" underwear around the house.
We are so proud of him!! I don't want to speak too soon, but I think we are on our way!! Yea, for not buying diapers anymore!!! haha
Today is the 4th of July and I've had a headache all day, so I'm actually glad we don't have any plans. I've been doing some light housework and just enjoying the rainy day inside with my boys! We'll probably watch fireworks later on TV. We don't have any local firework shows except the very big show in Birmingham. I've driven out to watch it before and its actually just as cool to watch on tv minus all the traffic! You know, some days it's nice to be able to be lazy and listen to the thunder and rain. At the same time, I'm thankful for the service men and women that have protected and protect this great nation everyday!!!
