Thank the Lord Dylan seems to be better! These last couple days he's had a pretty rough cough and gets tired kinda easy, but that's pretty much it.
I'm glad my little guy is getting back to normal. I missed his little hilarious sayings and doings.
We've tried to have some fun after his sickly week, but without over doing it.
We made some ornaments one day last week when we were bored. I thought they turned out cute, especially since I had to use stuff I had on hand.
Dylan's is on the left and Kinley's is on the right. They almost look the same size on here, but they're not. :)
We went to our town's Christmas Parade last week too! It worked out good because it was so warm & Dylan was able to go! If it had been as cold, like it was almost every year in the past, he probably wouldn't have been able to go with his cough.
Kinley had a good time at the parade. She loved the lights and sounds.
Sweet little Jonah. I think he liked it too! He was in the Christmas spirit with his little hat that's for sure!
Saturday we had a big day! We took a day trip up to Huntsville. I love to shop at Bridge Street. They have a big carousel there that Dylan always wants to ride. This was Kinley's first time to ride it though! She seemed to enjoy.
D and Chris took a ride on a little "train". Chris said it was the longest, most awkward ride ever. haha! He had to sit in that little cart with some strangers and he said there was no room for their legs. He cracks me up sometimes.
The whole reason we went to Huntsville was to see the Galaxy of Lights! It didn't disappoint. I used the excuse with Chris that Dylan would like it, but I think he figured out I really wanted to go to see for myself!
It was so cool and oddly peaceful. I'm really glad we made that memory.
We went to Rosie's Mexican afterwards.
Kinley was her normal attention craving self. She makes me laugh....yelling and waving at people. : )
Chris was sweet and let me do a little Christmas shopping afterwards. He sat in the car with the kids. I went to Target and a couple other places. I'm bad sometimes and buy for myself when I'm supposed to be looking for others, but I get sidetracked! haha
I found these super soft pj pants at Kirklands (of all places).
It's like wearing one of those super soft throws. :)
That pretty much sums it all up! I'm looking forward to getting back into our routine next week!
