New Years at Home

We're real party animals, obviously, since we spend every holiday at home! ;) We always have good family time though. That's what matters in this life anyway, right? This Christmas break has kind of just morphed into one long day to me. I'm ready for us to get back into a routine.
We've had a little too much down time! I think the kids are even going nuts.

New Year's Eve I made collard greens. Yummy! We had to eat those for luck. My mom would always have us eat greens and black eyed peas every New Years Day. I felt kinda bad because I forget to get black eyed peas at the store. So we didn't have those. Oh well!
New Years Day we played with new Christmas toys some more and Derek, Nicole and JB came over that night. We had On Tap To Go and played Pictionary. It was fun! Even Dylan played with us. ;)
Today I took the kids to the library because we needed to get out of the house. There aren't many indoor activities to do with kids.

I have to mention that Kinley is getting teeth, finally!!! She has one tooth on the bottom that has popped through and a couple more on the bottom that you can see, they just haven't broke through yet. She hasn't seemed to be in much pain so yay for her.
I love these two babies sooo much and have had such a wonderful time over this holiday season with them. I'm soo blessed. Thank you Lord!
