Hey there! I thought I would stop in and give a little update. I've said it a million times and I'm sure you already know, but I'm ready for fall! It has become my fav season. I love the decor, fall scents, tailgating food, cool weather, holidays...etc.
I'm pretty pumped about Dylan starting K-4 next week. We are the type family that just does better with a routine. I think we get bored pretty easily. Ha!

We've been trying to keep the kids entertained (story of our life).
We took a last minute beach trip a couple weekends ago. I think we literally decided the day before to go. So, we took the fifth wheel for simplicity. It makes packing a whole lot easier. We already have duplicates of everything in there, so all we have to do it throw a few clothes in our bags and a couple others things and we're ready!

I'm probably one of the only weirdo's that like to eat Mexican even at the beach! This is one of my favorite new places in Gulf Shores, Cactus Cantina. They have something called, Cactus Grits. Try them, you'll thank me.
Kinley thought she was such a big girl carrying her bag (which is really her bag I keep her diapers and snacks in).
We took her to Build a Bear while it was raining one day to pass the time. She wanted the My Little Pony! I may or may not have strongly influenced her decision! ;) Don't feel bad for Dylan, we let him visit the arcade.
This same day, we went riding looking at neighborhoods because I'm always just one step away from moving down there. I seriously got so excited because we found a neighborhood that I fell in love with as soon as we drove in. I had the warm fuzzies, until I started looking at the home prices on my phone. Total bummer. Too much for us right now, but maybe one day, huh? :) They are just so quaint and all have pools and they sit on the golf course. Loved it.
Ok, I saved one minor detail to last. About 30 minuets, after we made it to the beach, Chris' truck wouldn't start. :(
Long story short, it had to be towed. (it's a diesel and a couple glow plugs had went out)
That kinda put a damper on things and I knew Chris was mad about the truck.
I kept telling him to be thankful we made to the beach and it didn't quit on the way! Anywho, we had to rent a tiny car and they had to bring it to us.
There was nothing wrong with the car at all. It's just I drive a bus practically and the kids could touch each other in the back. They kept aggravating each other and it just kinda amped things up.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. That is a total first world problem. I just think it will make a funny story to tell the kids one day. :)
Oh me, the things we get into sometimes. Gotta love it!

Men with sick trucks aren't easy to deal with :) At least mine isn't.
The kids are so cute & I am LOVING Kinley's sandals! They are so cute & tiny!
One small set back, but it looks and sounds like y'all had a wonderful time at the beach. I'm ready to pack up and head that way... but it will probably be next year before we can go.
