Halloween-ed Out!

Seems I'm playing catch-up again on the blog. I'm usually go, go, go...but some kind of illness has brought me down, so I've got a little time on my hands. In fact, Saturday I didn't even leave the house except for one small errand!! Gasp!! You know that's just not me. Let's see, well, we'll start with the big one...Halloween. We did so many Halloween activities. I was kinda Halloween-ed out by the end of it. Halloween is for the kids, anyway. I haven't dressed up in years and years. Dylan was Leonardo the blue Ninja Turtle and Kinley was a cat (she hated her costume). Seriously, I didn't even care because she was that darn cute. She hasn't quite grasped the fact that when you look that cute in something, you may need to make some sacrifices! ha
In other news, Dylan was the most legit ninja turtle I saw though. ;)
Can't even caption this, it just slays me so completely.

Their cousin, Jonah, was a cute little lion.
We went to the fall carnival at church like we normally do, then went home and handed out candy to the trick or treaters. Dylan always goes trick or treating to a few houses as well. I'm sure Kinley will want to go next year.

Oh my goodness, both these kids ate too much candy and K has a new love for suckers.
We went to the Trick or Trot this year as well. It was fun and Dylan enjoyed himself. Kinley found a little friend like she always does. The dog's owner thought she was so funny making over the dog that he wanted a picture of them together.
Ok, y'all, don't laugh...here is my pumpkin. Or you can laugh, I don't care either way. Just not a skill of mine.
Here is Chris' pumpkin. He may be a little more skilled with the carving knife than me. Just a smidge better though. ;)
Dylan had a fall party at his school. The little kids just get so excited over the smallest things. It's really is a good reminder to enjoy the little things in life.
Oh, and we went to see the Halloween happenings at Tannehill. Uh, that pretty much rocked my socks off. (do people even still say that?)
Everyone is in such a good mood and campfires, and cooking out, and relaxing. I mean what's not to love?!
Ok, so we pretty much binged on Halloween activities. Next year, I'm cutting back a bit. (Remember, we did Boo at the Zoo too!)

Dylan did another fun run. He's obsessed with them. He gets the medal and clearly thinks he won the whole race. It's too cute to tell him he didn't (Even though he does really good). haha
He ran with his friend Ellie.
Look at them waiting to start...too sweet.
Pretty much the champions of the whole thing. LOL!!
I'm gonna throw in a little more cuteness for good measure simply because I can.

Is it Christmas yet? Because, frankly, I'm ready for some Christmas in my life. :)
