Good Times

We just got back from a wonderful weekend at the beach. Truly one of the most relaxing times we've had in a while. We always have fun when our family takes little trips, but it's not always relaxing. This time was the latter though!

We stayed in Laguna Key again, since we haven't stayed there for months & months. Chris' aunt is always so nice to let us stay at her beach house.

We spent a lot of our time on the beach. The weather was so nice and it wasn't humid yet. 

I think I found one of the biggest dogs ever! He looked like a bear. Kinley called him a bear and thought he was one. :) Jordan was the sweetest dog. Although, I will say, he was slobbering everywhere.

We also found our first whole sand dollar. We were just talking about how we never find perfect, whole sand dollars and lo & behold we found one!

Kinley walked on the sand this time!! (just for a little bit) 

She normally will not touch one toe to the sand without coming apart. 

She did claim every bird feather she saw was a spider, but hey...we're making progress. 

Kinley sat and played with toys for a long time. I'm very happy about that.

And this kid below just loves the beach, period. He would play all day. 

You know that kinda awkward moment when a stranger offers to take your family's pic?? Soooo...they totally don't know all the weird things you have to do to get your fam looking presentable. Here is the best we could do on the spot. Haha! Chris and Dylan look pretty good, Kinley isn't even on the same page and my dress is blowing & getting soaked.

Oh gosh, I love it though!

Chris and I also had a date night a couple weekends ago. Basically, to make up for our valentine's dinner being snowed out, boo! 

We eat at Chuck's Fish. If you live around Birmingham you must try it! I think there is one in Tuscaloosa too and maybe Destin. Anyway, it was delish!!

I had the crab cakes, oh my stars, so good! I took the other one home and had it for lunch the next day.

Oh, and I have to include one more pic so it will be in my book...

I LOVE this one of Kinley. Everyone says she is a carbon copy of Chris, but I think that this proves she is a mix of both of us! Sorry D, you were practicing ball so that's why your not in our pic. ;)
