I wanted to share a little bit of what has been going on with us lately. This is such a busy time of year for families with kids, and I feel it will only continue to get busier these next few years.
I mean, May is just nuts!

Summer has officially began for us and so has all the long, hot days it seems.
We bought the kids that pool, because naturally if you are outside around here in the summer...you need water.
One of the best things about summer is the lazy days, am I right?
A couple weeks ago Dylan "graduated" from K-4.
They had a program and sang songs and recited verses. It was the sweetest.
I can't believe how much he has grown and can't wait for his adventure into Kindergarten in the Fall. We have been working on more letters and reading skills this summer. I want him to be comfortable with that when he starts. Dylan had THE best teacher, Ms. Leah, this past year and he loves school because of her. I hope he'll continue to love learning next year too!
He also finished up baseball season. He had some really great improvements since the beginning of the season. His favorite position to play was catcher. (oh, and 3rd base, he only played it for one game though.)
He even got the game ball for a game for his hitting!!
His team had a party at the splash pad. They got the prettiest trophies. I know boy stuff isn't supposed to be pretty, but they really were. ;)
Little Kinley has been hanging in there going to everything with us, and I'm actually about to enroll her in a summer dance class. I think she'll love it. Attention and being able to run around are pretty much her love language.
Here are few more pics I wanted to kinda stick in here for my sake later on.
After lunch at one of our weekend haunts...La Paz.
Mother's Day! We had a great day btw.
Cousins playing on Memorial Day.
A little lunch on a hot Memorial Day!
I straightened Kinley's hair for the first time. It was so pretty and sooo soft.
I love having this time with my kids while they are small, and being able to stay home with them is such a blessing. I really hope to soak these moments up even if it's just plain crazy sometimes! I wouldn't want it any other way.
