Dylan and I Love This Guy!

Let me just start by saying what a wonderful father Chris has become…but, then again, I always knew he would be a great father. It's one of the reasons I married him :)

He takes so much time with Dylan. Chris has the patience of a saint and he takes so much time with Dylan. I always say that he is like a ‘Mama Hawk’. He’s very protective of Dylan, sometimes too much! I have to encourage him to let Dylan learn to do some things on his own. Oh, and the car seat, well after Chris straps Dylan in he could take a trip to the moon and never move out of that seat! That is a good thing though; he wants his little man to be safe. Oh, and he always tries to teach him new things. Chris loves Dylan so much!

Of course, Dylan loves his Daddy very much. He tries to copy everything that Chris does (he does not do that with me as much). One of my favorite things that Dylan does is try and walk around in Chris' big shoes. It’s precious.

I am so proud of Chris! He is always there to help me with Dylan when I have a bad headache, when Dylan needs to go to the doctor, and he provides in abundance for us! I am so blessed. Thank you Lord for all you have given me. I don't deserve it.

Oh, and Chris, I will always be secretly jealous of you, because you were the first person to get to hold Dylan! You rascal you! It is obvious though from this picture that Dylan is looking at his mama! ;)
