It's a New Day!! (and year, of course)

It is amazing how refreshed you can feel between one day and the next. Today has been a really nice day, in fact, its been exciting! We finally joined a church this morning! We had debated and prayed about it for sometime, but I'm sure we have found our new church home. It is a place that is filled with passion for the Lord. I knew without a doubt that God was with us in worship this morning. God told me in my heart that today was the day to make it our home. Plus, what a great way to start off the new year! It is very exciting. One of my favorite gifts from Chris this Christmas was a pretty new pink and brown Bible. I am going to have my name put on it.  :) Can't wait.
In other news, we went to Lowe's to pick up a few things and Dylan was a mess. He started this little dance...I promise you if I could animate these pics, there would be some kind jig going on! haha

I really hit the jackpot this weekend with after Christmas sales. I got a bunch of ornaments and decorations for 75% off. I am really excited because I am not a clearance shopper. I am totally OCD about neatness, and I can't stand to see things all thrown about in clearance sections! Oh well, I did good this weekend.
I guess this is a reverse order post, so Saturday is next. I got one word for Saturday, UGH!! It. was. bad. I mean, I was looking forward to going back to work it was so bad. I know, slap me now, what was I thinking!?! I won't drag the details out but basically Dylan chucked up all over the floor and his toys. It took us forever to clean up. It was bad. Also, Chris' truck windshield was cracked by a rock and etc, etc. It was just a bad day! Last night, I was so crazed I had to go shopping at my happy place, Target. I ended up just picking myself up a few little things ;) Which made me feel a little better.
Friday was fun, we went to the Botanical Gardens. Dylan was wild there too. I am beginning to think he might just be kinda wild haha! The gardens were pretty much all dead. :( Oh well, we really just wanted to get out and enjoy the warm weather since it was 72 degrees! Awesomeness! I managed to get a couple cute pictures of the wild child.

Oh, and I offically found where I want to live all winter...in this awesome tropical greenhouse. Heck yea!

How pretty is this tree?
 And me and my hunny!
New Years Eve was very low key. Chris cooked us a delicious meal. :) He is sweet like that.
Well, I am going to enjoy the rest of my Sunday and finish up some laundry. Have a good Monday friends!
