A Rare Snow Day!

We had our first snow in quite some time! I was glad because on all the shows that Dylan watch, they've been playing in the snow, building snowmen, throwing snowballs, etc. Needless to say, he would ask us everyday when he could do those things. Well, he finally got to today! Plus, it was Kinley's first snow!! She really didn't get to do much playing in the snow though. She just looked so cold. So I took her in with me after a few minutes.

We ended up getting a couple inches! 

I think Kinley enjoyed seeing the snow. Or at least watching Dylan play in it.

Ok, so this is Alabama, and the need for snow gear isn't real high. Kinley didn't have any gloves, so she had to wear a pair of mine. I just thought this looked so funny. Chris made fun of me because I didn't want to go in the front yard with me and her looking like such ragamuffins!! haha 

The snow was super heavy at one point, something you only see every couple years around here. It was so peaceful and the pine trees in the backyard were covered in snow. I just think pine trees hanging with snow is so pretty.

We made some fun memories today and it's nice to see some of the white stuff every once and awhile!
