The middle of summer is not my fav. I guess that's called the dog days of summer. It's just too hot and sticky. All the plants look sad and in need of water. My birthday is the only thing I really love during this time of year. It's jammed right in the middle of summer. Chris always makes my birthday special.
I got some great presents and my fav was my new bike and trailer! I had been wanting a trailer for the kids. Nicole has a trailer just like this, so now we can all rides bikes together! Woop, woop!!
This is the minivan of the bike world. It may not be the coolest, but it's comfy. :)
Chris took me out to a birthday dinner at Little Donkey and it was good, a little spicy for me, but still tasty.
Besides my birthday, we took the kids to the zoo last minute one day. It has been raining sooo much lately! We are pretty much doing whatever we can to get out of the house when the weather is decent.
D rode the camel (and Chris did too by default, haha)
D also really liked feeding the giraffes too. Last time he was too scared and made me feed them, so I was proud he did it all by himself this time.
We went fishing the this past weekend. We caught a couple fish. Most of the fish were too little for the hook we were using (we used D's fishing pole most of the time). They would just eat the worm right off the hook.
Kinley got into everything! She was a mess to keep up with! ;)
K seriously wanted to hold the fish. Chris was afraid it would cut her I think.
We had to go to Sno Biz one night because I really wanted the coconut with cream flavor! I've gotten that flavor for years. I just don't mess with a good thing! ;)
Ok, welp, I'm ready for fall! Kidding. (but, yet, I'm not kidding)

I love Little Donkey! We live in Huntsville so only get to eat it occasionally but it is so good. Especially the guac.
