In with the New

The last couple weeks have been filled with a new family member, new fun toys, and new routines. Obviously, the most important is our new little family member. We love him so much already.

Fisher Cole is here!

My new nephew was born March 3rd. He is just a baby doll and oh so cute!

Dylan was so proud to get to hold him.

Both Dylan and Kinley love their new cousin so much. I know that Dylan, Jonah, and Fisher will be best of friends. Poor little Kinley will remain the princess as of now. :) She has started calling Fisher, "my baby". She has really gotten into baby dolls lately and I'm pretty sure she thinks he's a girl like her dolls, but she'll learn pretty quickly he's not. :)

We got a new toy!

Chris decided he wanted a new toy because we sold our RV. We just never used it. I kinda hated we sold it, but if I'm being honest with myself, at this point in our lives with small kids, it was too much trouble. We wanted something simple and fun that didn't take a lot of pre-planning to use. He decided on a Jeep.
It's something we can all ride in and take off road for some family fun. I like that we can take the top off and it kinda becomes a convertible. It'll be fun to have on a gorgeous day.
Dylan loves it, of course, and I'm pretty sure Kinley does too. I was so glad she didn't throw her cup or glasses out of the car. You watch, just because I said that, next time something will be getting chunked right out the side. ;)
Chris keeps it really mild with the kids. He would never do anything crazy or risky with the kids in the jeep.

Dylan started baseball again!

It's coach pitch this year and they actually keep score, so I think it will be a ton more interesting. The ragball felt a little forced, so many kids didn't want to be out there, some kids had the attention span of a house fly, and the crying. Oh, the crying. Guess it just comes with the age, but some kids were just ridiculous. I'm not one of those parents that wants to dog on the kids for not being some great ball player. If they try their best, they should be applauded. However, when your child is 4-5 years old and throws a temper tantrum on the field...uh, no, that's not cool.
Dylan has done well so far! He really hasn't had a chance to practice much, but with the days getting longer, I'm sure they'll try to practice almost daily in the backyard. Oh, his team is the Reds. I don't know much about baseball teams. ;)
Here is the team banner. I just think it's so cute to see these little boys all dressed up like big baseball players.

And finally, I'll leave you with some of the cutest pics ever taken. (It's possible I could be biased)

Oh my stars, love these two!
