First Week Of Kindergarten!

Dylan's first week of Kindergarten is in the books! (well, 3 days worth) I'm so happy to report that he LOVES school so far! He even got a 'star student' prize the first day.

Happy to be on the way to big school!  

There is my teeny baby walking in to school...

He got a little upset the first day about the chaos that is car line. He is very much a perfectionist like his parents and it throws him off a bit when things are in disarray. However, the next day, he knew what to expect and was totally fine! 

This was D right after he got home from the first day of school.

It totally wiped him out!

Kinley had to get up in all the action. Someone actually asked me if she was starting Kindergarten!! Say what?! I have no idea what they were thinking. 

I really do credit his days being so great so far due to his wonderful preschool teachers! We tried to prepare him as best we could and tell him things he might do during the day. I think that really helped as well. 

We always talk positively about school in front of him, never negatively.

I hope he always loves school and learning new things!!
